19 Airport Security Checkpoints Allow Advance Reservations

19 airports in the U.S. now allow travelers to make advance reservations for security checkpoints.

The program is called TSA PreCheck and it allows travelers to skip the long lines and go through a faster security screening process.

To enroll in TSA PreCheck, travelers must pay a fee of $85 and undergo a background check.

The program is valid for five years and is available to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents.

More than 200 airports around the United States provide the TSA PreCheck service to travelers.

Other programs, such as Global Entry and CLEAR, also offer expedited security screening for travelers.
